Hyderabad: Man with gun creates panic at Madhapur

Hyderabad: A man with a gun in his hand created panic at Mastan Nagar under Madhapur police station limits on Tuesday night.

Getting into details, the man created havoc with his speeding SUV at Mastan Nagar leaving the people in panic. Suspected over his movement in the area, locals stopped his vehicle and asked the man to get down. However, the man got down from the vehicle with a gun in his hand and the locals moved away after noticing the gun. The person then got back into the vehicle and fled the spot.

Locals alerted the police who rushed to the spot and registered a case under the Arms Act and the Indian Penal Code. They claimed that the man had threatened them for parking cars on colony roads.

The police are verifying the CCTV footage of the area to nab the culprits. An investigation is underway.
