Hyderabad metro operations to be extended to Mindspace on Nov 29
The much-awaited metro line from Hitec-City to Mindspace junction will be extended on November 29. Minister for Information Technology KT Rama Rao and Minister for Transport Puvvada Ajay will launch the metro services making the services available to 28 km from Nagole to Mindspace on the Corridor III.
With the launch of the metro services, travel towards HiTec City will be easing for the scores of passengers. Commuters who have used the shuttle bus services to travel to the metro station can now avail of the metro services at the Mindspace junction.
On the other hand, the civil works on the Corridor II are almost completed and the metro officials are planning to open the stretch between JBS and MGBS in the next month. The officials inspected the stretch are likely to begin the trial run via interchange station of Parade Grounds.
DVS Raju, Chief Electrical Inspector (CEIG) of HMR to the Government of India inspected the 10-km overhead Electric Traction System (OETS) on Thursday.
