Hyderabad metro sees 80 million patronage in 595 days
The Hyderabad Metro Rail has achieved another feat with 80 million passengers taking the metro ride in just 595 days.
Taking to the Twitter handle, the L&T Hyderabad metro rail said, "Hyderabad metro rail has reached the milestone of 80 million passengers cumulatively in 595 days. We are touched and ecstatic to see so many riders using the metro as their mode of transport. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the riders for their constant support and love."

The metro rail is witnessing a consistent rise in the patronage with the onset of monsoon. The commuters are preferring to traverse in the metro at the IT hub avoiding the traffic snarls during peak hours. The rainfall is creating traffic gridlocks at the IT hub making the commuters to prefer the metro.
