Hyderabad metro takes special actions over outbreak of Coronavirus

Hyderabad: Coronavirus is griping its fear on Telangana with the first positive case registered in Hyderabad. Over this outbreak, the Hyderabad metro rail has taken up special actions at all metro stations across the city.

Speaking on this occasion, Hyderabad Metro MD NVS Reddy said that special hygienic drive had been initiated at all stations and crowd areas especially at the place where the human contact is high.

He said the awareness on Coronavirus would be made through the announcements on the metro trains. Reddy further said that Minister KT Rama Rao and Etela Rajender is constantly monitoring the situation.

He advised the metro commuters that there is no need to panic. Already, Minister Etela Rajender has made it clear that the government is taking all required measures to control the spread of Coronavirus.

So far, only one Covid-19 positive case has been reported in Telangana. A 24-year-old software employee who travelled to Hyderabad from Dubai has tested positive, and he is being treated in an isolated ward at Gandhi Hospital.
