Hyderabad: MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi distributes Kalyana-Shaadi cheques

Chandrayangutta: MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, along with Bandlaguda MRO Farheen Shaik distributed, Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi cheques amongst the beneficiaries at a programme held at MRO office under Chandrayangutta constituency. According to Riyasath Nagar division Corporator Mirza Saleem Baig, a total of 708 cheques were distributed among beneficiaries with total amount of Rs 6.94 crore. He also said that during the past 5 years of the scheme, under Chandrayangutta constituency alone around 13,000 beneficiaries availed the provision, which stands amongst one of the highest distributions. "On the representation of Akbaruddin Owaisi the amount has been increased from Rs 51,000 to Rs 75,116 and in 2018 last session of assembly before elections again he represented for the increase in amount and now the scheme amount is Rs 1,00,116," he added.

Corporators Fahad Bin Abdat (Uppuguda), Mohammed Abdul Rahman (Jangamet), Abdul Wahab (Chandrayangutta) and other party workers and officers were present.
