Hyderabad: MLA Arekapudi Gandhi launches development works worth 89 L in Madhapur
Madhapur: Serilingampally MLA and Government Whip Arekapudi Gandhi on Tuesday laid foundation stones for works worth Rs 89.2 lakh. They include CC roads, underground drainage, restoration UGD work in Golul Flats, Izzatnagar, Chandanagar Thanda, Sainagar Thanda in the presence of local Corporator Jagdishwar Goud and GHMC officials.
Addressing gatherings, Gandhi stated that a special focus was being laid on expediting development while taking up various works in Madhapur division. He promised to secure more funds to develop Madhapur as a model division, by creating basic facilities in phases. The legislator advised GHMC officials to maintain quality in works and expedite them so as to benefit the residents. He pledged to lay trouble-free roads paving the way for comfortable travel.
The works that Gandhi launched include CC roads from Gokul Flats 56 to 66 and near Road 23 (Rs 20 lakh), UGD pipeline from Adityanagar Cyber Valley to Road no.14 (Rs 20 lakh), UGD restoration work in Izzatnagar (Rs15.2 lakh), UGD pipeline restoration work in Chandanaik Thanda near Dobhighat (Rs14 lakh), CC road work in Sainagar (Rs 20 lakh).
Those present at the functions included DE Rupadevi, AE Prashanth, Works Inspectors Venkatesh, Sharma, Chary, Grandhalaya Samstha director Ganesh Mudiraj, Madhapur TRS division president Erragudla Srinivas Yadav, general secretary Sambasiva Rao, party leaders Srinivas Goud, Jangayya Yadav, Gummadi Srinu, Ramchandar, Lavanya, B Srinu, Pithani Srinu, Naresh, Mallesh, Appa Rao, Sanjiva Reddy, Shivaji, Satya Reddy, Jairaj Yadav, Hunya Naik, and Gokul Flats Colony president Sambayya.
