Hyderabad: MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao holds padayatra, makes enquiries
Responding to the complaints, Mynampally Hanumanth Rao said that he is striving to find a permanent solution to the frequent inundation of Sattireddy Nagar Colony as the colony is in a low-lying area
Malkajgiri: To learn about local issues, Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao undertook padayatra in Sattireddy Nagar Colony of East Anandbagh division on Friday. During the padayatra, the MLA enquired with people about local problems and interacted with them on various issues.
Several residents of the colony complained to the MLA that the colony gets frequently inundated during rainy season and that they also face other problems such as drainage, bad roads and lack of streetlights. Some residents expressed dissatisfaction over lack of proper response from the officials concerned.
Responding to the complaints, the MLA said that he was striving to find a permanent solution to the frequent inundation of colony as the colony was in low-lying area. He said that the widening of the nala passing through the colony would be taken up shortly as part of the solution. He promised to take the issue to the notice of municipal minister KT Rama Rao for allocation of additional funds for addressing the issue. He assured the locals that the problem would be solved forever. He instructed the officials to address other issues such as bad roads and streetlights at the earliest.
Government officials DE Ramesh, AE Srikanth, SS Nagaraju, Vijay, local leaders Prem Kumar, Pitla Srinivas, GSV Satish, Lakshmikanth Reddy, Naresh Kumar, Naveen Yadav, M Jagadish Goud, Bhagawanthu Reddy, Prakash and others were present on the occasion.
