Hyderabad: MLA Raja Singh conducts padayatra in Goshamahal
Goshamahal: Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh and Begum Bazar division corporator Shanker Yadav along with the officials of GHMC and HMWS&SB conducted a padayatra in Begum Bazar division under Goshamahal Constituency on Friday.
It was started from Sanathan Dharma Shala along with route areas of Begum Bazar, Chudi Bazaar, Nagarkahan, Gowliwada, Yadav Bhavan Hotel, LMG School and concluded at old Shahinayathgunj Police Station road.
During his visit, he interacted with residents and about their problems. Locals alleged about the sanitation in Begum Bazar, with none of the officials showing any interest to improve the situation even though submitting representation of the office. The residents are facing several hardships due to lack of civic amenities such as bad roads, lack of streetlights and sewage overflow.
According to the residents, GHMC authorities have completely ignored their problems. The residents of certain areas in the Begum Bazaar division reported that for the last two weeks, daily water supply has been reduced from two hours a day to less than an hour now, said a resident.
Later, he visited GHS School in Begum Bazar and interacted with the school staff, and they requested him for the police patrolling near school twice a day. Raja Singh immediately instructed the concerned police department officials accompanying him in padayatra for a patrolling in area.
BJP leaders Raghunandan Yadav, Paras Yadav, Venkatesh Yadav, Roop Darak, Yogesh Mudiraj, Praveen Mishra, Pradeep Singh, M Krishna, Ramakrishna and others were present.
