Hyderabad: More basti dawakhanas to come up in Serilingampally

Serilingampally: Local MLA and Government Whip Arekapudi Gandhi on Friday held a review meeting with GHMC Project Officers Vatsavala Devi and Geeta on setting up of Basti Dawakhanas in Serilingampally and Chandanagar circles. Addressing them, he announced that new Basti Dawakhanas would be established in Serilingampally constituency, at Premanagar, Kothaguda, Anjaiahnagar (Kondapur division), Papireddy Colony, Taranagar, Nehrunagar, Chinna Anjaiahnagar (Serilingampally), Madhapur, Adityanagar, Gokul Plots, Goutaminagar (Chandanagar), M A Nagar (Miyapur) and Madinaguda (hafeezpet). The MLA asserted that as the Basti Dawakhanas staff would be always accessible to people and provide timely relief they should avail themselves of the facilities. Gandhi said in places lacking adequate buildings he would himself help or seek assistance of donors to open counters. He thanked senior TRS leader Miryala Raghava Rao for offering to set up a counter.

He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had launched Basti Dawakhanas with the objective of providing better health care facilities to the poor close to their places of stay. He said they would ensure quality treatment to the needy poor. The legislator appealed to people to contribute for ushering a better society.
