Hyderabad: New initiative for specially challenged

BHEL: Teachers of the BHEL Colony special care school, headed by principal Umamaheswari, are conducting special training classes for the students to create self-confidence in them, besides enabling them to carry out various tasks by themselves.

As part of these efforts, the teachers recently took the students to various temples, vegetable markets and parks in the BHEL Township so as to create awareness among them. The principal had instructed the teachers to expose the students to outside world and to make them take up various tasks themselves. Following this, parents of the students expressed happiness over the initiative.
