Hyderabad: Notorious house burglar held, 413 gms gold seized
Hyderabad: The South Zone task force personnel along with Nallakunta police on Tuesday apprehended one, Saddam Ali, (24), a notorious house burglar who was involved in multiple robberies. The cops also recovered 413 grams of gold from his possession, worth Rs. 17 lakhs. According to task force police, the accused person was a habitual offender and he would change his location very frequently. Most of the time, he would sleep on the railway platforms and waiting rooms.
He used to target the houses, which were mostly locked and which did not have CCTV cameras in the locality. So far the accused person is involved in 51 cases of house burglaries. In the year 2017 alone he committed 15 burglaries along with his associate Pothu Raju. The accused was also booked under Preventive Detention (PD) Act, but still he did not mend his ways, said the Additional DCP, Task Force, Chakravarthy Gummi.
