Hyderabad: Officials told to speed up tanks beautification in Ramanthapur

Ramanthapur: MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy and Zonal Commissioner Upender Reddy inspected Chinna Cheruvu and Pedda Cheruvu here on Tuesday. Corporator Gandam Jyotsna explained problems pertaining to the tanks to the duo.

Zonal Commissioner directed the officials concerned to complete survey of the tanks at the earliest and to determine the full tank limits (FTL). "Fence should be arranged on the circumference of the tanks. Walking tracks should be laid. People living near should be moved to a safer place. All the beautification work needs to be taken up," he added.

Deputy Commissioner Krishna Shekar, DE Seetha Ram, AE Nagamani, DE Vigneshwari, revenue officials and others were among those present.
