Hyderabad: One in four samples tests Corona positive

Hyderabad: Telangana reported more than one thousand new Covid cases (1018) in the last 24 hours pushing the overall tally well past 17,000 mark. This was the second instance when more than 1000 cases were reported in a single day. On June 27, 1087 cases were seen. Also, 788 patients were discharged on Wednesday taking the total discharged so far past 8000. One in four samples tested positive on Wednesday.

GHMC reported 881 cases among the new cases with Medchal 36 and Sangareddy 33 cases respectively. Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao and his wife who were admitted with corona positive in a corporate hospital on June 21 were discharged on Wednesday. Both of them were advised home isolation for some more time.
