Hyderabad: Oriental Bank celebrates 78th foundation day

Hyderabad: On the occasion of the 78th Foundation Day of Oriental Bank of Commerce, blood donation camps, health camps, social activities were conducted across its branches in Telangana State, under the aegis of Hyderabad circle office. Employees and customers together donated 368 units of blood. As many as 385 health check-up camps were organised. The bank took up CSR activities like breakfast, lunch, fund donation, fruits distribution at old age homes and orphanages. Arun Kumar Agarwal, the circle head, said employees and customers, senior citizens and the retired staff of the bank helped the bank cross several milestones in its 78 years of journey. The bank was founded in 1943 in Lahore and was later nationalised in 1980. Retired employees were felicitated by the circle head on the occasion.
