Hyderabad: OU directs foreign students to undergo coronavirus tests

The Osmania University (OU) administration has asked the foreign students especially China to undergo coronavirus tests at Fever Hospital and Gandhi Hospital.

Although no confirmation cases have been reported so far in the state, several patients are getting admitted to the hospital suspecting of being infected by the coronavirus. The patients have been kept under observation at the special isolated unit set up in the hospitals.

An emergency notification from the Ministry of Health has asked the foreign students especially from China to undergo the tests in view of the virus spread which has taken the lives of hundreds of people in China.

The notification also advised the students to visit any of the two hospitals - Gandhi Hospital and Fever Hospital if possessing the symptoms of coronavirus.
