Hyderabad: PDSU demands student union polls in Osmania University

Osmania University: Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU) said a policy decision on organising student union elections should be taken in Assembly.

PDSU OU Committee held press meet in OU Guest House on Friday. PDSU State vice-president S Nageshwara Rao demanded that the government take an immediate decision on the elections. "PDSU has been fighting in phases to push government to conduct elections. A round-table on the issue will be conducted in the new seminar hall, Arts College, on March 11. Students, intellectuals, democratic minded people are requested to take part in the round-table," he added.

PDSU OU President N Suman, general secretary N Jyothi, vice president Ramesh, Suverna, joint secretary Venkatesh, leaders Sindhuja, Ramesh, Venkatesh, Shivaraj, Sindhu, Bharath and others were present.
