Hyderabad: SR Nagar police on Tuesday night arrested three persons from Andhra Pradesh on charges of kidnapping and murder of the fish trader in Hyderabad.

The fish trader P Ramesh's body was found in a gunny bag under Jubilee Hills police station limits on Tuesday night.

Cops arrested the main suspect Srinivas alias Raju along with two women aides in Andhra Pradesh and brought them to Hyderabad for further enquiry. According to police, the main suspect Srinivas hatched a plan with two women and laid a honeytrap by making a phone call by one of the women and on January 1 invited Ramesh to her house where the victim's dead body was found.

Later he killed him and with his phone number sent WhatsApp message to Ramesh's niece and demanded Rs 90 lakh to release him from their clutches.

Later the three suspects by paying rent to the house owner absconded from the spot. The Jubilee Hills police found the body of Ramesh stuffed in a gunny bag in a penthouse of a building and formed 6 teams to nab the offenders.

Based on technical evidences they took the three suspects into their custody and are interrogating them in all angles.

They are focusing on whether any previous rivalry existed between Srinivas and the victim or the former murdered the trader only for money.
