Hyderabad: Programme on agri digital interventions concludes in PJTSAU
Rajendranagar: The three-day training programme on 'Digital Interventions and mobile-based Apps for next-generation agriculture' being held at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), concluded on Wednesday.
The 3-day training programme, which began on Monday was sponsored by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under schedule caste (SC) sub plan. Dr Madhubabu, Dr Ravinder Naik, Dr Srinivas Reddy faculty of the college of agriculture, Rajendranagar provided training.
According to organisers, as part of this 3-day programme subjects like digital interventions, developing of apps for next generation agriculture, positive attitude development by students, digital agriculture convergence, "VARI App" for next generation farming were presented to the students. Several experts from university, agriculture department, Agro industries, mobile app developers delivered lectures and about 55 SC students took part during sessions.
Dr J Sathyanarayana, Dean of Agriculture, PJTSAU, Dr Seema, Associate Dean, college of Agriculture Rajendranagar monitored this 3-day training programme.
