Hyderabad: Rejuvenating medical minds in the city on Feb 16 in Gachibowli

Gachibowli: Under the aegis of the medical wing of Brahma Kumaris, the HM&FM Department, Government of Telangana, Department of Ayush, Telangana, Indian Medical Association, Telangana, Association of Physicians of India, Mamata Academy Sciences, SVS Medical College and Hyderabad and Secunderabad branches of Brahma Kumaris are organising a medical conference "Rejuvenating Medical Minds" on February 16 at Global Peace Auditorium, Shanti Sarovar-Academy for a better world, Gachibowli.

"The conference aims to explore the concepts of health and healing, spirit and spirituality. It sets out to answer how healthcare professionals can deliver the best possible care to patients, and at the same time enable them to feel enriched and supported by their work – how they can thrive, rather than just survive," shared BK Sarala Ben, the National Co-ordinator (Media Wing) of Brahma Kumaris. Brahma Kumaris is the largest spiritual organisation in the world led by women. It was the founder, Prajapita Brahma Baba, who chose to put women in front from the very beginning, and it has set Brahma Kumaris apart on the stage of the world's religions and spiritual organisations.

"The medical wing of Brahma Kumaris aims to serve the health care professions and patients throughout the globe through various socio-spiritual health activities, seminars, conferences, projects, etc. The conference is open for all doctors, medical practitioners and students of health care from different medical fields across India," Sarala Ben added further.

The conference will be inaugurated by Health Minister Eatala Rajendra along with Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Transport Minister, Shanti Kumari, Special Chief Secretary of HMFW, Dr Yogita Rana, the Commissioner of Public Health and Family Welfare, Dr Varsini, Director of Ayush, Padmashri Dr Bhakthavatsalam, Chairman of KG Hospitals, Coimbatore, Dr Bhaskar Rao, MD & CEO of KIMS Hyderabad, Dr Ashok R Mehta, Director of BSES MG Hospital Mumbai, Dr Banarasi Lal Shah, Director of Bramha Kumari's Medical Wing, BK Sister Jenna, Washington DC, BK Sister Kuldeep Director of Bramha Kumari's Hyderabad and host of eminent medical practitioners will be sharing their insights at this conference.
