Hyderabad: Sabita assures scribes of solving house-sites issue
Serilingampally: Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy stated here on Friday that she would make efforts for a solution to the journalists' house-sites issue. She was speaking after unveiling the poster at her residence on the Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ-H 143) mahasabha of combined Ranga Reddy district. The union leaders invited her to the conference, to which she reportedly agreed. Later, Reddy and the union leaders held elaborate discussions on the problems facing journalists. The leaders took the issue of house-sites in combined Ranga Reddy district and sought the minister's intervention in securing double bedroom houses to journalists. They appealed to her to help solve the allotted house-site problem of journalists of Serilingampally.
Among the TUWJ leaders who met Reddy were Ranga Reddy district unit president Uppari Shekar Sagar, State leaders Pailla Vittal Reddy, unit general secretary Asif Hussain, vice-president Gantla Raji Reddy, Serilingampally Press Club president and general secretary Uppari Ramesh Sagar, Mettu Jagan Reddy, TUJ president and general secretary P Sagar Goud, Kishor Kumar, Press Club vice-president Godugu Srinivas Mudiraj, treasurer Lakshminarayana, joint secretaries Narsimha,Yellesh, Srinivas Yadav, secretary Ravinder Sagar, TUJ joint secretaries Sugunakar and Ravinder.
