Hyderabad SHE Teams celebrate 5th anniversary

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police celebrated 5th year anniversary of SHE teams on Wednesday at Charminar in the presence of students by releasing pigeons and balloons followed by cutting of a cake.

Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, UC Consul General Joel Reifman, MLA Mumtaz Ahmed, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and others participated in the event along with thousands of students from different colleges.

The programme was started by showcasing a video with messages by the police officials and other prominent people and the victims also shared their experiences with SHE teams.

Anjani Kumar while speaking on the occasion said with five years efforts of SHE teams, Hyderabad city has become one of the safest city in the country.

"When there is a talk about the city even beyond the country the first thought is that Hyderabad has become most happening destination for business. Hyderabad also has all the top twenty companies, due to the efforts towards safety and security," he said.

Asaduddin Owaisi said the efforts of Hyderabad SHE teams are most appreciable and with their efforts girls in the city are reaching their colleges and offices without any tension.

Before the evolution of SHE teams, miscreants used to tease the girls and now because of SHE teams there is no such incidents.

Apart, other dignitaries who have attended the event congratulated the successful completion of five years of SHE teams and wished for more successful year ahead.
