Hyderabad: Startup eases trouble of fixing doctors appointment
Hyderabad: To help outpatients, a startup company named Oxyfind has developed two applications - OXYQR and OSS (Oxyfind Smart Screen) – that enable patients to book appointments with doctors by using a QR code, and track the appointment in real time.
Speaking to The Hans India, Nabajyoti, co-founder of Oxyfind, said, "Post lockdown, social distancing is must and to avoid rush and provide quick appointment, we developed an application called OXYQR which generates QR codes and the Oxyfind Smart Screen that helps the patients book an appointment by using the QR code in free of cost and track them according to their convenience."
With the help of the technology, Oxyfind is trying to help doctors and patients who have been struggling since the outbreak and with the applications, it also helps people maintain social distance. At present, the company is associating with five private hospitals in city. This application is already working in Assam. In Hyderabad, the startup began its operations on March 2020 and is an enterprise solutions provider for hospitals and clinics. "Also, our startup is planning to develop a peer-to-peer telemedicine application which would be the first of its kind in India, where no third party can listen to the conversation between doctor and patient. It is free to use, more private and secured," added Nabajyoti.
How does it function?
A personalised QR code is provided to each clinic or hospital. Patients can freely scan and request an appointment by scanning the QR and confirm the booking. Once the clinic or OPD approves the appointment and assigns the slot, the mobile screen of patient turns into an OSS. The OSS enables patient to track his/her appointment in real time from anywhere. Thus, they can arrive at the clinic or OPD at the appointed hour
