Hyderabad: Stop Goebbels campaign on TS finances, Vinod tells Congress, BJP
Hyderabad: Telangana State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman B Vinod Kumar has lashed out against the Congress and BJP for their false propaganda regarding State's finances.
He said information shared by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Lok Sabha to a question by Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has brought out facts and thus put an end to Goebells campaign of the two national parties. He appealed to the two parties to take note of it and stop their mudslinging campaign on Telangana finances and debts.
Vinod Kumar, however, alleged that Centre was showing discrimination towards Telangana. He felt that Centre was giving little to the State but giving big statements on it.
Niti Aayog had recommended funds assistance to Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha schemes but the NDA government had not allocated anything in the budget at present and in previous years, he stated.
At the rate of Rs 25,000 crore per year, Centre has given Rs 1.5 lakh crore in last six years to Telangana, he mentioned.
