Hyderabad: Syed Ahsan Hashmi promoted as Deputy Director in I&PR

Hyderabad: Syed Ahsan Hashmi, who is working as Assistant Director in the office of the Commissioner, Information and Public Relations Department, Hyderabad has been promoted as Deputy Director and posted at Medchal Malkajgiri district.

During the 35 years of service in the department, he worked in various capacities in Rangareddy, Medak, Mahbubnagar and Hyderabad districts.

Syed Ahsan also worked in Ranga Reddy as district minority welfare officer, besides working as Secretary, Media Academy of Telangana State.

The official who has the distinction of knowing English, Telugu, Hindi and Urdu languages has been discharged duties during the southern sojourns of several presidents like Shanker Dayal Sharma to the present President of India.

As an Assistant Director at Commissionerate, he was instrumental in the handing media relations s which deals with the welfare of the journalists including the issue of accreditations and health cards.
