Hyderabad: TDP leaders strategise for GHMC elections in Domalguda
Domalguda: Prominent leaders of Telugu Desam Hyderabad district held a meeting at the district party office here on Thursday. Spokesperson of the party M Aravind Kumar was invited as chief guest of the programme. Party leaders discussed strategies to be employed for strengthening the party in view of the forthcoming GHMC elections. It was decided in the meeting the party should field candidates for all the 150 divisions of GHMC.
Addressing party leaders, Aravind Kumar urged them to assess party strengths in various divisions and act in coordinated manner to ensure party victory in the forthcoming elections. Alleging that the ruling party was mired in corruption ever since it came to power for the second time, he said that TRS government had failed in implementing its flagship welfare schemes such as Asara, Kalyanlakshmi and KCR Kits citing economic crisis. He said that Telangana which had been a surplus State when it was formed turned into a debt-ridden State, thanks to the TRS rule. Deploring that Hyderabad state had been made as liquor capital, he urged people to teach a befitting lesson to the ruling party in the forthcoming elections for making liquor as a main source of revenue. TDP leaders P Saibaba, Nallela Kishore, Ravindrachari, Balraj Goud, Srinivas Naidu, Muppidi Madhukar, Bharath Prakash, Raju Choudhary, MK Bose, Vijaysri, Annapurna, Indira, Komuranna, N Nagesh, K Krishna Goud, Shyamsunder, Paul, Jayender Babu, Pentam Raju, Rajendra Prasad, Lakshman Yadav, Amjad, Joginder and others attended the meeting.
