Hyderabad: Techie who infected by coronavirus to get discharged from Gandhi Hospital

A techie who was admitted to state-run Gandhi Hospital after being infected by coronavirus will be discharged from the hospital soon. The patient was put on an isolation ward in the hospital after he tested positive for the virus.

However, 14 days after the treatment, the doctors said that the patient is recovering and will be discharged in the coming days. As per the ministry of health, the patient should be tested negative twice before getting discharged from the hospital.

On Monday, the techie tested negative for the virus and the doctors have collected his samples again and sent for testing for the second time.

After the Gandhi Hospital, the centre has given its nod to conduct tests at the Osmania Hospital. On the other hand, the passengers arriving at the Hyderabad airport are getting screened and the suspected cases are being sent to Gandhi Hospital.
