Hyderabad: Telangana Government forgotten role of employees, says AICC secretary Vamsi Chand Reddy

Hyderabad: AICC secretary Vamsi Chand Reddy on Friday alleged that the State government has forgotten the role played by government employees during the Telangana movement.

Addressing the media he said that though the government did not fulfill the promise to raise the retirement age of the employees from 58 years to 61 years, it has given good posts to the officials who are close to the leaders of NGO and Gazetted Officers' union.

He further said that the government did not care to announce the new pay scales to the government employees and the vacant posts arising out of retirement of employees were not filled.
