Hyderabad: Telangana High Court Chief Justice inaugurates induction training of new SCT SIs (Civil) batch

Hyderabad: The Chief Justice of Telangana High Court Raghvendra Singh Chauhan on Monday inaugurated the Induction Training of 2019-20 batch of SCT SIs (Civil) at TSPA. While addressing the gathering he said that when he addresses the young, he addresses the future. He said the Police and the Judiciary are two sides of the same coin in the Criminal Justice System as the goal is same.

He said to excel in a profession, one should have sensitivity towards society and always carry kindness and compassion along with the baton. Director General of Police (DGP) M Mahendar Reddy congratulated all the trainees who got selected in the department as Sub-Inspectors and welcomed them to the Police Department.

He stressed upon improving scientific aptitude in investigation by linking the criminal to crime. "Proactive policing, evidence-based policing and upholding the constitutional and legal rights of citizens would build up the image of Police," he said. He said adopting service-oriented police services by treating all classes of people without any gender or racial discrimination would be beneficial for the society.

He also motivated trainees to use their rights and benefits only to have a problem free society by facilitating the people by adopting citizen friendly policing. Vinoy Kumar Singh, Director, TSPA said that TSPA has got opportunity to chisel the uncut rocks into diamonds. The people have soaring expectations from Police and training needs new approach to meet these expectations.

Dr B Naveen Kumar, Course Director for SCT SIs (Civil) apprised about the course through power point presentation and updated about the rules and regulations, importance of discipline in training and explained the course Syllabus and analysis of the trainee profiles.
