Hyderabad: Three kids fall sick after consuming ice-creams
Hyderabad: In a bizarre incident, three children developed uneasiness and started bleeding after consuming ice-creams purchased from a pushcart vendor here on Sunday.
The incident took place at Santhosh Nagar when one Fayaz Ali Khan, purchased three ice-creams for his children from a push-cart vendor. When the children started eating the ice-creams, they stuck to their tongues instead of melting into the stomach.
When the panicked children tried to pull out the ice-creams harder, skins of their tongues were peeled off leading to bleeding. Enraged over the incident, Khan rushed to catch the ice-cream vendor, who shrugged off the responsibility and put the blame on the manufacturer.
Khan later lodged a complaint at Santosh Nagar Police Station. According to Santhosh Nagar Sub-Inspector B Keshavulu, the owner was summoned to the police station and upon further enquiry, it was found that the ice-cream was mixed with some dangerous chemical substances.
