Hyderabad to receive heavy rainfall for two days

Due to the active monsoon conditions in the state, the city may receive heavy to very heavy rain today and tomorrow.

The Indian Meteorological Department said that some parts of the state will receive heavy showers and warned the public to be cautious.

On Wednesday evening, various areas in the city received light showers. The Telangana State Development Planning Society said that several areas received rainfall above 5mm till 8 pm. Old Bowenpally, Kukatpally, Qutbullahpur recorded 5.8 mm of rainfall each.

Meanwhile, the city traffic police issued an advisory for the motorists for safe driving.
