With the onset of monsoon in Telangana, the Hyderabad city will witness heavy to very rainfall today and tomorrow. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a pressure-induced rainfall across the state on the arrival of south-west monsoon.

However, the reason for the current rainfall has been attributed to a low-pressure area formed over east-central and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal which is likely to move over west-northwestwards.

As the monsoon arrived at the right time, the state is expected to receive heavy rains this monsoon. With the wet conditions being prevailed in the state, people in the state have got a respite from the scorching heat. The temperature in the state has been dipped with the rainfall and will hover between 27-28 degree Celsius for the next two days.

With the rainfall on Wednesday night, Abdullapurmet recorded heavy rainfall of 89.5 mm followed by Serilingampally at 79.8 mm, Pedda Amberpet at 77.5 mm and Saroornagar at 74.5.
