Hyderabad to witness heavy rainfall today: IMD

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted heavy rainfall in Hyderabad in the next few hours.

GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore alerted officials and rescue teams over the rain prediction. Around 80 special teams were formed to clean the garbage piled up in the areas due to the rain.

Dana Kishore also spoke to zonal commissioners about the traffic diversion to prevent the traffic gridlocks. Currently, areas like Secunderabad, Tirumulgherry, Marredpally and JBS is witnessing heavy rainfall.
