Domalguda: Hyderabad district TDP organised a meeting of important party leaders at the party office here on Tuesday. TDP leaders Ravula Chandrashekhar Reddy and Aravind Kumar Goud participated in the meeting as the chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion, TDP leaders lambasted the TRS government for not fulfilling its election promise of providing one lakh double bedroom houses in the city. So far, the government gave less than 3,000 houses, they said. Ridiculing TRS claims of transforming the city into a world-class city, they said that Hyderabad had been made into a city of disasters. The government had not laid any new roads and people were facing a lot of inconvenience, they alleged.

TRS government had been looting people by giving permissions to open liquor shops at every corner, they alleged. Many election promises such as allowance for unemployed, three-acre land for dalits and others remained unfulfilled in the last six years of TRS rule. Chandrashekhar Reddy announced that the party would stage a protest at Indira Park on Thursday, condemning corrupt and inefficient governance of TRS party. He urged party cadre to attend the programme in large numbers to make it successful.
