Hyderabad: TRS leader M Krishank demands action against Nizamabad MP
Hyderabad: A delegation led by TRS leader M Krishank on Thursday lodged a complaint with the Chief Electoral Officer, Shashank Goel, against the Nizamabad BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind alleging that he had given wrong information in the 2019 election affidavit.
Krishank said that the Nizamabad MP intentionally gave false declaration affidavit to the Election Commission at the time of filing nomination papers. Krishank said that Dharmapuri Arvind in his affidavit mentioned his education qualification as MA in Political Science from Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (deemed-to-be-university) in 2018. Arvind managed to participate in the election and was declared elected.
Krishank said that he had applied for verification of student data with the deemed-to-be university and received a reply that Arvind was not a pass out of 2018 in MA (Political Science). He was not enrolled under distance education. The TRS leader demanded the CEO to file a criminal case against Arvind for cheating the Election Commission by making false statements and wrongly representing the fact.
