Hyderabad: TS Girls Residential School gets Reverse Osmosis water plant

Borabanda: Mohammed Baba Fasiuddin, Deputy Mayor, GHMC inaugurated Reverse Osmosis water plant at TS Residential School for Girls in Borabanda on Wednesday.

Drinking the borewell water directly might lead to different health issues, and considering it as priority, Baba Fasiuddin wanted to provide purified water instead of just borewell water to the weaker sections. A borewell point and RO water plant with 2000 litre capacity along with wash basins, washrooms, walkway and other developments took place at the school, thanks to his initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Mayor said, "RO water plant helps to remove lead from water and protects people from many diseases such as high blood pressure, nerve damage and low fertility. Drinking reverse osmosis water can also eliminate risks of brain damage and anemic conditions, especially in children." He also urged people to be healthy by taking healthy foods and drinks.

Baba appreciated Avathar Charitable Trust and PJS Paul Foundation for extending their support in ending the water scarcity in the Borabanda division by facilitating the basic amenities required. He requested them to extend their services by providing a few more RO water plants in the division.

KVS Prasad Gupta, chairman and managing director, Avathar Charitable Trust, PJS Paul Foundation representatives, Deputy Secretary (residential schools), principal, teachers, students, Borabanda local TRS cadre and others were present at the event.
