Hyderabad: TSWB chairman inspects Wakf land at Shamshabad
Shamshabad: Telangana State Wakf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem along with in-charge CEO Mohammed Qasim inspected the wakf land of Dargah Amanullah Shah and Masjid Qutub Shahi with attached land, situated at Hameedullah Nagar in Shamshabad.
Mohammed Saleem informed that the land was notified waqf property published in Gazette no 6-A dated Feb 09, 1989. "It's a very prime land and the anti-social elements were trying to encroach the land," he said.
Later, he instructed the officials to prepare a detailed report on encroachment and take necessary action for eviction of the encroachment. He assured that for removal of illegal encroachments, Wakf Board would take all necessary steps.
He also said that very soon a meeting would be called with the officer of Revenue department and Police Commissioner Cyberabad to discuss to free the land from the clutches of encroachment.
Earlier this month, TSWB chairman along with officials also visited Dargah Pahadishareef and inspected the construction works of CC road ramp and later he said that the due to the low budget the works were going on in slow pace and the amount would be release as early as possible. And the ramp works would be completed within next 6 months.
He also said that government of Telangana has sanctioned an amount of Rs 19.6 crore for the construction of ramp.
