Hyderabad: Two cops posted at Gandhi Hospital test coronavirus positive
Hyderabad: A sub-inspector from Chilakalguda and a constable from Bowenpally who were posted at Gandhi Hospital tested positive for coronavirus. Four policemen have tested positive for the deadly disease in the last two days.
Both the sub-inspector and the constable are undergoing treatment and those who worked with them have been advised to remain in-home quarantine. The family members of the policemen have also been quarantined.
Meanwhile, the municipal and healthcare officials took up the sanitation works at both the police stations and also the areas where they were residing. With the latest two cases, the total number of coronavirus cases in the police department touched 10.
On Thursday, a detective inspector of Balapur police station was tested positive while a constable working at Kuslumpura police station succumbed to the virus on Wednesday.
