Hyderabad: Uttam Kumar Reddy partymen to take precautions
Hyderabad: Citing that the deadly coronavirus is turning aggressive, TPCC president and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday called upon the party leaders and workers to take precautions to protect themselves from the virus.
In a statement, he said the increase in the number of coronavirus cases was a clear indication to prove that the ruling TRS party led State government had completely failed to contain the spread of the virus. He alleged that CM KCR had completely failed to prevent the virus and added that the hundreds of affected people of the State were visiting hospitals every day due to the same. He said that there was an urgent need for the Congress party leaders and workers to be highly cautious about the spread of the virus and take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the spread of the virus. He advised them to follow all precautions and follow social distance to keep the virus at bay.
He also asked them to wear face masks, face shields and keep themselves clean throughout the day. Reddy further asked them to follow the Covid-19 guidelines during the party programmes. He also asked the party's office staff in Hyderabad and the districts to wear masks in the offices and during press meets.
