Hyderabad: Woman delivers twins at Gandhi hospital

Hyderabad: A 20-year old pregnant woman, who was referred to Gandhi hospital by Niloufer doctors delivered twins on Tuesday. She hailed from Medchal district.

The woman was asymptomatic to the virus. She was from containment area in the district and hence Niloufer hospitals referred the case to Gandhi.

Gandhi Superintendent Dr Raja Rao said that the woman delivered 2 female babies around 7.30 pm. The babies weighed 2 kg and 2.5 kg respectively. Dr Raja Rao said that the mother and the two babies were stable. He congratulated the Gyenic team for the successful operation.
