Hyderabad woman home guard ends life due to family disputes

A home guard attached to Saifabad in the city has committed suicide following a family dispute here at Borabanda on Thursday evening.

Alivelu was residing at Borabanda along with her husband and daughter Ravali. It is learned that she was upset over the series of conflicts going on in her house for the past few days.

On Thursday around 6 pm, Alivelu hanged herself from the ceiling when no one was at home and committed suicide. Ravali who returned home at 8 pm found her mother hanging to the ceiling and alerted relatives.

She was then sent to a private hospital in Sanath Nagar where she was declared brought dead. The police registered a case and took up the investigation. Further details are awaited.
