Hyderabad: Women's Day fete at TDP office in Bowenpally

Bowenpally: On the occasion of International Women's Day, Malkajgiri Parliament constituency TDP secretary Muppidi Madhukar organized celebrations at the party's Cantonment office at Bowenpally on Sunday. Several women activists of TDP party attended the celebrations. Muppidi Madhukar cut the cake along with party women cadre on the occasion. Later, prizes were given to women who accomplished significant achievements in various fields.

Speaking on the occasion, Madhukar recalled various initiatives taken by the party for the welfare and development of women. He said that it was TDP founder NT Rama Rao who gave property rights to women. Similarly, the party under the leadership of Chandra Babu Naidu took several initiatives to develop women, he said. He demanded the state government to impose ban on liquor in view of increasing atrocities against women in the state.

State TDP leader Indira, Vaidehi, Ashok Yadav, Jairaj, Chandrakala, Uma and several women leaders participated in the celebrations.
