Hyderabad: Youth reunites with family 8 years after running away from home

A 21-year-old youngster who ran away from home when he was 13 has been reunited with the family on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media, Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said that Susanna and Salam, who are residing at Housing board Navodaya colony under Kushaiguda police station limits have two children, Deepak Jain and Dinesh Jain. In 2011, Dinesh went out his home to play cricket and returned home after two days following he was scolded by the family.

Fumed over it, Dinesh ran away from home with Rs 2000 and reached Delhi. He then went to Punjab where he stayed in a hotel for two days. And began working under Sukrajsingh, a landlord in Punjab. However, the parents of Dinesh lodged a complaint with Kushaigdua police about his missing in 2011.

Last year, Deepak came across his brother's profile on Facebook and informed the police. The Rachakonda police based on the IP address traced Dinesh and handed over to his family.
