Hyderabad: Youth spread awareness on dreaded coronavirus

Nampally: The girl students of Sarojini Vanitha Maha Vidyalaya in collaboration with Telangana Citizens Council (TCC) on Friday took out awareness rally and took part on seminar at their College inside Exhibition ground on coronavirus (COVID-19).

Prof P Shashikala Reddy, the principal Osmania Medical College, participated as the chief guest. She asked the denizens to remain alert about the COVID-19 (Corona virus), as it is yet to be contained at global level.

Dr Sanjeev Singh Yadav, the state secretary Indian Medical Association (IMA), suggested that the people thoroughly cook meat and eggs and to avoid unprotected contact with live wild or farm animals. Dr D Sridhar, an Associate Professor of Osmania General Hospital (OGH), called upon the students to avoid crowded places and around people who are unwell and to see a doctor if you are unwell.

Before the programme, the students of Sarojini Naidu Maha Vidyalaya NSS and NCC students took out a rally with placards on COVID-19.
