Telangana Cabinet meet today to discuss relaxations for lockdown 4.0
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Cabinet will meet on Monday evening to discuss the guidelines issued by the Centre for the lockdown 4.0 and to finalise the strategies to suit the requirements of the State in tune with the latest guidelines.
The Cabinet may decide to announce more relaxations like granting permission to resume public transport may be inter-district to begin with and opening of more commercial establishments like saloons etc. It is said that in case of saloons odd and even number system may be preferred.
It will also discuss the standard operation procedures to be followed by the saloons. The Centre had granted permission to the States to resume inter-state passenger bus services with mutual consent and also accorded permission to the opening of commercial establishments with safety measures.
The State Governments have also been given the powers to decide Red, Orange and Green Zones.
It will also discuss the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, a special economic package announced in five instalments by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The government is unhappy with the way the Centre had increased FRBM limits with several conditions. It may pass a resolution demanding that the conditions be removed. The Cabinet is also likely to discuss agricultural policy for Telangana.
