Impressed by farming techniques, CM KCR invites AP farmer for lunch

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday made a phone call to Uppala Prasada Rao, a farmer of Gantasala Palem village of Krishna district and inquired about the traditional Vedic style farming being followed by Prasada Rao.

The CM also invited Prasada Rao who served in the fields of agriculture, dairy and other industries related to farming for lunch to learn his experiences in Vedic style farming and implement in the state. The Chief Minister also inquired about the cultivation of paddy, crop produce and cost details of Vedic farming and also said that he would send him a car to visit the CM.

Meanwhile, the Uppala Prasada Rao expressed after the call from the Telangana Chief Minister. The ideal farmer from Krishna district has been growing Sannala variety of paddy in his 35 acres of land by practising seed drill method. He said that he has been getting 40-45 bags yield of the paddy crop.

It is known that the CM has his interest in farming activities and also launched several schemes for the welfare of the farmers including Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bhima.
