In spite of bail, Nowhera Shaik to remain in Hyderabad jail

In spite of getting bail in two cases registered as Kukatpally police station, Heera group of companies founder Nowhera shaik will be remaining at Chanchalguda jail. This is due to the pending cases registered against her in Hyderabad, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.

Shaikh was arrested by the Kukatpally police in January 2019 in connection with cases registered against her in October 2018 by Mohammed Ghouse and Akram. However, a court in LB Nagar granted bail to Nowhera on Tuesday.

Nowhera defrauded the investors by collecting investments from the public on the promise of paying a 36 per cent return. Around 1.72 lakh investors across the country have been cheated from whom Rs 5,600 crore was collected, suspects police.
