Fumes in Indigo plane bound to Hyderabad, major mishap thwarted by pilot

An Indigo flight 6E-6679 from Delhi to Hyderabad made an emergency landing in Hyderabad. Pilots identified signs of smoke while decent and as a measure of caution,deeclared emergency to expedite landing.

Immediately after landing, an inspection was carried by Indigo engineering team and the issue has been identified as malfunctioning of air conditioning systems's exhaust fan. All the engine functionalities and parameters were fine.
