Indur innovators to show their talent on Independence Day in Nizamabad
Nizamabad: The creativity of Indur (Nizamabad) youth will be showcased to the State and also the country on Independence Day.
In order to build an innovation-driven economy and promote innovation and creativity across the State, Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) hosted a first-of-its-kind 'Innovation Exhibition' (under 'Intinta Innovator' programme) in all 33 districts of the State on August 15, as a part of Independence Day celebrations.
The TSIC's initiative, which began one month ago, had received a total of 500 applications, out of which 360 submissions were qualified as innovations, and 220 got shortlisted. They range from rural innovations to innovations of tech, with six of these selected innovations being start-ups.
Innovators from all districts have recognised the gaps in their communities, the problems that they face every day, and have identified sustainable solutions – their innovations and submitted their innovations.
15 innovations have been submitted from Nizamabad district and District Collector M Rammohan Rao, after consulting with experts, gave permission for eight people to exhibit their innovations at the Independence Day celebrations to be held in Nizamabad on Thursday.
