Inter results goof-up: Komati demands KCR's apology
Nalgonda: Congress senior leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy fired salvos on Board of Intermediate for its negligence and alleged goof-ups in the release of intermediate exam results that led to some students even committing suicides.
Addressing the media in Nalgonda on Monday, Komati senior said that government was responsible for the mistakes done by the Board of Intermediate, and demanded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao tender apology to students and their parents unconditionally.
Stating it was shameful to say that Minister for Education G Jagadish Reddy belongs to erstwhile Nalgonda district, the Congress leader demanded the Chief Minister to dismiss Jagadish Reddy from the cabinet.
He mocked at KCR over making corruption allegations against staff of revenue department which was managed by him. Komati demanded the State government to appoint a Revenue Minister immediately to resolve all the issues pertaining to the respective department and farmers.
Stating the Congress party was going to win both Nalgonda and Bhongir MP seats, he predicted that Congress would hoist its flags in Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri-Bhongir zilla parishads and will grab a majority of MPTC seats in all three districts.
He announced Vanguri Laxmaiah , Srinivas Reddy and Bixam Yadav as party ZPTC candidates from Nalgonda, Tipparthy and Kanagal mandals of Nalgonda Assembly constituency. Party leaders Srinivas Goud, Lateef, Ramesh and others attended the press meet.
