International Day for Older Persons celebrated in Khammam

Khammam: On the occasion of International Day of Older Persons, celebrations were conducted on Tuesday by the departments of Women Welfare and others in Khammam. District Collector RV Karnan, who took part in the celebrations, stated that everyone should extend their support to older persons. He said health camps would be conducted regularly at old age homes and daycare centres.

Trainee Collector Adarsh Surabhi, District Welfare Officer Sabhitha, District Hospital Superintendent Dr Venkateswarlu, Senior Citizen Association president Chandra Mohan, Secretary Vijay Kumar and others attended the programme.
